100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in India
The 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Gyan Yog Breath is a 9-day intensive course during which the participant will gain a comprehensive knowledge of yoga.
The yoga beginner to intermediate is invited to become an expert in asana, pranayama, yoga physiology and philosophy, transformational meditation techniques & Emotional Blockage® Treatment.
The 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in India aims to increase your overall health, strength and flexibility. You will receive deep insights into what it’s like to become a yoga teacher and cover various subjects. This Yoga Teacher Training will teach you how to feel more relaxed, improve your concentration and implement a positive attitude towards yourself and life in general.
This course is specially designed for students who wish to become a yoga teacher, but do not have the time to commit to a one-month course.
At the end of the 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in India, you will receive a certificate that confirms your attendance and number of hours. At Gyan Yog Breath you can complete two 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training courses within one year and receive your Yoga Alliance registered 200 Hour Certification.
The training classes run every day except Sunday from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On Sundays, it’s your free day so you can explore the culture and surroundings or simply relax and rejuvenate.

100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training In India Course Outlines & Aims
Hatha Asana
- Cover at least 45 hatha asanas with English and Sanskrit name
- Learn and experience the benefits of each posture
- Become familiar with sun salutations, twisting, sitting, standing and inverted postures

Pranayama
- Learn and practise various pranayama techniques to calm your mind

Meditation

Accommodation
The Gyan Yog Breath Ashram is located in Visthapit, Rishikesh which is the most peaceful area. Away from the noisy and polluted main market, you will practice yoga besides the national park, river and listen to the beautiful sounds of nature. It’s the perfect location for a journey within, without disturbances.
The building has 20 comfortable single and twin rooms with attached bathrooms and balconies.
During your Yoga Teacher Training Course with us, you can choose between a single or twin room. We have two big yoga halls. On the rooftop, we have a restaurant, terrace and hanging out area with sitting space. The rooftop is decorated with green plants and provides a beautiful 360° view. We have extra toilets attached to the yoga halls.
On Saturdays, our roof top hang out space, turns into a movie theatre. You can watch a movie and at the same time enjoy the sky full of stars.
The Restaurant is also equipped with benches and tables.
Food
During your 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, you will receive two freshly prepared meals per day and a fruit meal as an afternoon snack.
For Brunch, we serve seasonal fruits, sweet or salty porridge, Oats, Soy milk, Indian Breakfast, veggies, sides and teas.
Dinner consist of changing cooked vegetables, rice, chapati, pulses (dhal), soups and salads. Sometimes we serve also sweets as desert and Western dishes for more variety.

Important Information
Assessment and Evaluation
- During the Training, you will have written assessments and practical evaluation.
- The assessments are obligatory.
- A minimum of 95% attendance is required.
Yoga Alliance Certification
- There will be a final school certification of the training to prove that the student completed 100 Hours of Yoga Teacher Training
- Please note that there are currently no 100 Hour Yoga Alliance Certifications at all. In case you are looking to get Yoga Alliance certified, check out our 200 Hour Yoga Alliance certified course here.
- At Gyan Yog Breath, you also have the option to do two 100 Hour courses to complete your 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Alliance.
- There will be a practical and written assessment to complete this program
- A minimum of 95% of attendance is required to complete the program
